Attorney Phillip Roach earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. He later attended Campbell University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1988.

Following graduation, he moved from his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and became a full-time resident of Southwest Florida.

Phillip Roach then began his legal career in 1988 with the Collier County Public Defender’s Office. He entered private practice in 1990, serving as an associate with Bass & Chernoff and the Law Offices of Ralph A. Richardson. He has been in private practice in Bonita Springs since 1994.

Attorney Phillip Roach belongs to The Florida Bar and the Collier County Bar Association.

Mr. Roach is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Bonita-Naples. During his 32 years of membership, he has served as Club President, Club Rotary Foundation Committee Chairman, and a member of the Board of Directors for multiple terms. At the Rotary District level, he previously served as Area Rotary Foundation Committee Chairman.

When not at work, his hobbies include genealogy, United States and maritime history, model ship-building, marksmanship, and fishing. He is also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Nautical Research Guild.

Mr. Roach has been married to his wife, Marina, since 1988. They have two children, Nicholas and Elizabeth.
